CASE BRIEFING FOLLOWS:


1. Overview
On Sep 19, 2025, we lost contact with Team #2016-011, "The Outlasters".

2. Subjects
Lee, Taskmaster
Oswald, Operator
Hamilton, Researcher
Caige, Scout
Team last known location, tracked vampire to Destruction Island, off the coast of Washington State. Find them, bring them home.
You will be inserted at night, to avoid detection from on-shore observers. You may decide to take advantage of the dark, or you may wish to sleep the first night and operate in the light.
Be advised, however, that whichever you choose, you should maintain that sleep schedule throughout the mission.

3. Investigation & Coordination
Search Operations: Aerial drones confirmed they landed and resumed their investigation; island is out of encrypted comms range, and NOT approved for unencrypted comms.
Local Coordination: Washington State Authorities are to be kept in the dark; previous team's work should have completely mitigated this problem.
There is one civilian on the island, an old retired sea captain who now tends the lighthouse. He owns the land on which his house sits, so he is technically the island's only inhabitant; he definately knows more than he's letting on, but how much, we cannot say. Could be a good place to start.
ONLY approach him during the day, however; he's armed, and while not strictly dangerous, he may not enjoy being woken up.

5. Threat Assessment
Conditions — rugged terrain, potential for *extreme* variable weather, high potential hypothermia risk at night.
Indicators of kidnapping or foul play, especially on a vampire hunt; the isolated geography heightens risk.
